Designed for the ELEN competition by Croatian national energy company HEP. The task was to design a e-car charging station with solar panels in order to achieve maximum in sustainable mobility. Together with our friends from Soda Arhitekti and Rimac Automobili we proposed a solar tracking solution in a compact fluid form. Round shaped “head” is acting like a sunflower, following the sun motion in the sky and protecting cars from the elements while charging. The angle of the solar field was optimised for a specific geographic latitude.
